So, let's get started shall we...

When is the best time to wash my hair, the night before or the morning of the wedding?

We prefer to work with freshly washed hair for styling purposes. If you do need to wash your hair on the morning of the wedding, please ensure that it is completely dry by the time we arrive, unless we have discussed and agreed upon this during the trial.

Should I have my hair done before my makeup?

Either option is suitable. It is recommended to begin with a vintage hairstyle using hot rollers before applying makeup. If you have hired a makeup artist, hair stylist, and photographer from different sources, it is beneficial to share their contact details with each other to ensure they collaborate effectively and achieve the best outcome for you.

On that note (see above)

Assign a member of your bridal party to be the point of contact for you on the wedding day. Our goal is to prevent the bride from getting stressed over minor issues, while ensuring that everyone stays updated.

Will you be able to apply my veil or any other hair accessories I provide?

It is common for this to happen. However, ensure that it has been discussed and confirmed in advance. If your hairdresser is skilled, they have likely done this numerous times. In case they haven't, it's advisable to bring your hair accessories to the appointment.

These items consist of a veil or Maang tikka, matha patti, bor, and borla.

If I am having a different look for the evening, is it possible to book for the evening as well?

Not all suppliers provide this service, so make sure to confirm with your supplier. This service is usually available upon request.

If you would like to have our services for the entire day to ensure there is assistance available for checks at any time, this can also be organized. However, it is recommended to confirm this with your supplier. Typically, a professional experienced in the film and television industry will be familiar with this arrangement.

What happens if your hair or makeup artist is ill or is unable to make it on my wedding day?

Hair and makeup artists, especially those who are experienced working in film and television or specialize in weddings, have a network of other professionals they know. So, they will usually be able to call on another professional to help out. This is, after all, why booking experienced professionals is the best option.

Will you come to my venue on the morning of the wedding?

Yes, most hair and makeup artists are freelancers, and we are happy to travel to where you are getting ready.

Most will charge for additional mileage, parking, or congestion charges.

For some of our clients, traveling abroad is also an option.

Remember to check back periodically for further updates...
